MBS Community Classes: Spring 2023

We will begin this culinary-linguistic experience by tasting a wine from the region of Tuscany in Central Italy. We will then learn about the pasta making tradition of the city of Bologna as we prepare fresh tagliatelle from scratch, all the while learning some conversational Italian expressions and discussing the gastronomic traditions of Central Italy. (Please note: the pasta making portion of the class is a hands-on demonstration, but due to spatial constraints, we will be unable to cook what we prepare.)

Come explore your inner artist at Paint & Sip Night Out! No experience needed, our class will be easy to follow, fun, engaging, and an opportunity for you to sip on beverages while creating your own masterpiece! The class will be run by our very own Mr. Mazouat and Mrs. Woodruff and all you need to bring is a fun mindset because this will be a non judgmental evening filled with laughter and joy. Haven't painted in years? No need to worry! Although aprons will be provided, please dress accordingly, sometimes art can be messy! Get ready for a night of fun you will never forget!

An inside view of the planning, engineering and operations for a planetary space mission focused on the Magellan (to Venus), Galileo (to Jupiter) and Cassini (to Saturn) missions with a bit of Mars rovers and including some hands on image analysis.

Metal Design Studio in the Center for Innovation & Design

Registration Fee: $50.00 Per Person | Maximum: 10 partipants

In this hands on class, you will use sterling silver sheet and wire to make the earrings pictured. It will be a physical evening, as you will be working at a jeweler's bench and using the tools of the trade to cut and texture metal, install rivets, and make french wire findings. Come to class dressed comfortably.
